YSL Fashion Week App
For my Media Design course final project, I created a visual experience of the YSL Fall Winter 2020 Ready to Wear Fashion Show, which took place during Fashion Week in February. As flights to Paris and opportunities to be involved in Fashion Week are expensive, I wanted to give my target audience the ability to digitally transport themselves to Fashion Week. My target audience is comprised of sophisticated, luxury fashion experiencers, ages 20 to 40.

My strategy is to entice users by offering them an opportunity they may not be able to have otherwise – to digitally experience Fashion Week. While my app only focuses on one show, the format could be replicated to include all of the shows that occur during Fashion Week. Ideally, the outfits would also link to the online store and give users the ability to buy the clothing. Additionally, the social profiles that I mocked up would link to Instagram and other social media profiles.

I faced challenges, given Adobe XD’s limitations. Adobe XD does not allow you to imbed video content. I originally planned to have the entire video of the fashion show available on the app. Additionally, I planned on linking the outfits to the online store, so that users could easily purchase a look. However, the collection is not for sale yet and regardless, Adobe XD does not allow you to imbed links. This also caused me a problem when it came to social media profiles. Originally, I intended for users to be able to virtually meet the model, by linking the app to each model’s social media content.

I overcame the aforementioned challenges by designing content that implied the ability to do what Adobe XD would not allow. For example, I took a screen shot of the video of the show and overlayed a play button on top of it. In this sense, I created the illusion of a video capability. I did the same for the Instagram profiles by providing their name and an Instagram button. Instead of having a purchasing feature, I provided more details about the outfits with a color scheme.

5.11 Tactical In-Store Shopping Experience
This prototype was made as a proof of concept for Moblty Inc., to demonstrate the company's capacity to digitize the retail space and expand basket size through digital interactions on in-store tablet interfaces.

E-Flight Wine Experience
I created this prototype to demonstrate Moblty Inc.'s technology, which focused on creating a sommelier wine tasting experience for airplanes.
